Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Compile Quality & Compliance Packets: Build complete, customer-facing inspection reports and packets for our AS9100-certified quality management system.
- Support Data Entry & Tracking: Accurately enter critical dimensional data and part measurements from Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) printouts and hand tools into Excel trackers and internal databases.
- Audit Documentation: Double-check quality records, inspection numbers, and compliance paperwork for accuracy before final delivery.
- Maintain Digital & Physical Logs: Keep neat, easily searchable archives of quality metrics, inspection logs, and shop performance statistics.
- Collaborate Across the Floor: Partner directly with machinists, quality inspectors, and programmers to retrieve, verify, and clarify dimensional details and job specifications.
Qualifications & Skills
- A Precision Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when handling large volumes of numerical data.
- Tech Savvy: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for daily report formatting and data organization.
- Team-First Attitude: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
Valued Extras (Preferred but not required)
- Prior experience in a machine shop or manufacturing quality department.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality standards.
- The ability to read blueprints or interpret basic part dimensions.
- Experience reading CMM reports or shop inspection sheets.
