Job Summary
At Owens Industries, we’re looking for a CNC Programmer who knows their way around a complex 3-axis and 5-axis setup and can hit those tight tolerances day in and day out. We aren't doing simple, repetitive production here; we’re working on high-end aerospace and defense parts, often with tough materials like Inconel and Titanium. If you’re used to holding ±0.0001" and can jump between jobs without missing a beat, you’ll fit right in with the team.
You’ll be working directly from SolidWorks models and prints to build out your programs and setup sheets, so having a good handle on your CAD/CAM software—especially Autodesk PowerMill, FeatureCAM, and SolidWorks—is going to be a huge plus. We need someone who gets the "why" behind the cutting parameters and workholding, not just the "how." If you’ve got at least 5 years of programming under your belt in a shop that doesn't cut corners on quality, and you’re ready to dive into some challenging, high-mix work, we’d love to have you on board.
