Location - We are located in Oak Creek, a suburb of Metropolitan Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Controlled Environment - Our facility was specially designed and constructed in 1985, for our ultra high end machining processes with special temperature and dust control systems. For example, our Wire EDM department has a positive pressure airflow system to maintain a room temperature within +/- 0.5 degrees during critical processes. Dust and particulates are also controlled using special Electrostatic & Ion filtration systems. Our facility would appear to be more like a "clean room" than a machine shop - we maintain immaculate facilities to facilitate the immaculate work of our employees.

Highly Capable People + Equipment - We have teamed up with the best of German and Swiss companies to develop specially calibrated 5 Axis Machining Centers and 5 Axis Wire EDM for our unique needs. Our engineers worked with a Swiss EDM manufacturer along with a Japanese support systems manufacturer to integrate a specially developed 5 axis system that can achieve unparalleled accuracies. Of course, they are precision calibrated and aligned to achievable perfection.

Some of our people who strive for the nth degree of absolute perfection and whose attention to detail borders on "compulsive", even go to the extent of considering (worrying about) the effects of the Lunar cycle and the resulting/possible changes in the electromagnetic envelope (frankly, some of us are not sure as to what they actually do beyond "worrying").

Our equipment includes 3, 4 and 5 Axis Machining Centers, 5 Axis Wire EDM, RAM/Sink/Plunge EDM, Super Precision CNC Lathes, Swiss CNC Turning Centers with live tooling, Grinders. Deburring may appear to be a fairly simple task. At Owens, we consider it to be an important task. We have employees who have been with us for between 8 and 15 years even in our deburring department. Using 30 X magnification microscopes, they undertake the microscopic deburring of complex projects with unparalleled attention to detail! Based on their significant experience, they develop special finishing compounds for mirror finish polishing and solutions for Electro Polishing.
